JESUS SAVED A SLAVE BOY NAMED GEORGE

In the gospel of Luke it states that God is inside You, that You carry the spirit of God in You.

How is it possible that You can ever be powerless if God resides in You?

Let’s take a look at my favorite hero and a man who truly loved Jesus.

George Washington Carver was born into slavery and as a boy he was traded for a broken down slave horse.

This young boy had no mother or father, he was a sickly child and almost no one wanted, save Jesus.

Someone taught young Geroge how to read and his favorite book was the Holy Bible.

Young George Washington Carver found new life in Jesus Christ and everyday of his life he awoke early

(5:00A.M.) and he got down on his knees and prayed to God asking for direction, mercy, grace and love.

George washington Carver is one of the greatest Americans of the 20th century…how did this slave boy reach such heights?

He had no mother, no father and yet he rose to become one of the greatest, if not the single greatest American of the 20th century; how did this poor sickly child go on to become so accomplished?

The answer is easy…JESUS!

Jesus saves and he loves and he heals all pain and makes us a new woman or new man in him, because after all he,

Jesus is in all of us.

“Behold the kingdom of God is within you.” –Luke 17:21
