“Men at sometime are masters of their fates. The fault, is not in our stars, but in ourselves.” –William Shakespeare
I often think of young Anne Frank who died at the tender age of 12 because of the horrible acts done to the Jewish people because of Adolph Hitler and his Nazi Party.
Can you imagine what the brilliant and gifted Anne Frank could have done using social media?
I truly believe if Anne Frank could have had the internet at her finger tips she would have been heard by the world and she would have championed freedom for her people long before Hitler took his own life.
Today we have this wonderful untamed beast called the internet and the awesome power at our very finger tips is really quite astonishing. Ten days ago an outcry over the snub of black actors in Hollywood was picked up by social media and just five days later it was reported sweeping changes have been made to the board of the Academy Awards membership and changes in it’s laws and rules going forward.
The awesome power of internet is the fact just one person can effect change and start a revolution to
make the world a better place for us all.
