Leonid Afremov World Renown Artist-Painter

One of the very best things about being on Twitter for me is that I am able to Follow Leonid Afremov,
@AfremovArt-Twitter. Leonid Afremov is a Russian-Israeli born impressionistic painter who works mainly with palette knife and oils.He is world renown and one of the most prolific impressionistic painters with over 2,000 paintings.

Impressionism began in France in the 1870’s.
The aim of impressionistic painters was to replicate the visual impression made by an object on the eye.
Unlike previous painters who chose subjects from history or mythology, impressionistic painters ( Leonid Afremov)
paint the everyday world around them.

Each morning when eye check my Twitter page I go to Leonid’s page to see what beautiful painting awaits me.
I am always amazed at his work and I’m thankful I found him a few years ago online. I’ve read notable psychologists and psychiatrists often employ Leonid’s paintings in various psychological and psychiatric therapy.
Leonid’s paintings are relaxing, refreshing and inspiring to the soul. Almost all of his work has a certain personal memory and emotion. His art can be reflected as very positive through the bright colors he uses.

Leonid Afremov has traveled the world as one of the most important impressionistic artist of his generation.
Today he and his family reside in the popular resort town, Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico near Cancun.
